Graphic Design Coordinator

We are looking for a talented and passionate Graphic Design Coordinator to join our leading NZ fashion company. As a Graphic Design Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our creative vision and enhancing our brand identity across various marketing channels for our two New Zealand brands taylor and The Shelter.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role with plenty of variety and opportunity to grow. You’ll collaborate closely with the Creative Director, our e-com and marketing managers, assisting in designing, planning, and delivering engaging visual content across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and create engaging marketing assets for email campaigns, social media, and digital advertising.
  • Assist in designing EDMs and newsletters (experience with mailchimp or similar is a bonus).
  • Contribute to photo and video content creation, including garment shoots, editing and optimisation.
  • Maintain brand visual consistency across both taylor and The Shelter brands.
  • Deliver photoshoot selections and completely visual assets for seasonal ranges
  • Assist in creative concepting, brainstorming, and moodboard creation.
  • Creating graphic assets for events and activities in store, online and for wholesale that aligns with the brand presence.

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in graphic design, ideally in a fashion, marketing or agency environment
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Excellent eye for design, typography, and layout, with a keen understanding of visual communication principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and take direction well
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • An excitement for creating innovative and visually appealing graphics and content that visually represents the company's brands.
  • Willingness to learn — we’re happy to teach and up-skill the right person

You’ll be an experienced high-end fashion Sales Assistant with an eye for fashion and styling, enjoying immensely making women look fabulous. Applicant must be flexible and be able to work at least 1 day a week, and be flexible on the days needed.
