At Home with Rick Owens: Cookie Recipe
Posted:
We're adopting a new era of the Rick Owens aesthetic, taking inspiration from the Creative Director's book of childhood recipes for Autumn.
Thanks to a video from the designer, the Rick Owens' fan club can learn to make his Persimmon cookies during the cold months now that the decadent fruit is in season. According to Owen's, his father would pick the persimmons from trees in their backyard in Porterville, California. His mother would bake them, and has ever brought the cookies to his runway shows for the showroom and backstage team.
*Note, Rick is following on from his mother's tradition and making these for his team - this recipe from Rick yields about 100 cookies, so measure to your desired numbers. We recommend a 1/4 of the measurements.
