FAMILY VALUES

To celebrate Mother's Day, we spent a morning at The Shelter photographing Kate Greenslade, taylor boutique stylist of 11 years, and her beautiful daughters Imogen, Annabel, and Lillie. It's the first time in a long while since Kate's been reunited with all 3 daughters at once as Lillie, who's based in London, has come home to visit for the first time since Covid hit.

It was a pleasure to have a chat, a laugh, and a try-on with them all.

As well as being a talented stylist, Kate is an extremely skilled artist in her own right. Her style can be described as abstract expressionism, and she has enjoyed producing art over the last 20 years.

Her original artworks are typically done on building paper, ripped canvases or boards - sometimes found and often recycled. The art surface is heavily textured and is prepared with gesso, layers of ripped material including her own art. Some of her inspirations include fashion, life experience, music and moods.
