Introducing Puro shoes to The Shelter. After six weeks in transit we are excited to share and educate you on our newest edition to The Shelter brands. Formed by Austrian couple Sibylle and Josef Schachl; they have been working on the development and implementation of this unique collection for many years. Puro exemplify an uncompromised use of the world’s finest leather with the careful and masterful work of artisan shoe makers. Creations that are true pieces of art.
From the first drawings to the first collection and the trademark name, Sibylle and Josef took ten years in order to reach their end goal: An original brand offering an incomparable selection of shoes. Josef Schachl had been passionate about shoes for over 25 years and woke up each morning thinking: “What kind of shoes for today?” He acquired the best savoir-faire with experienced craftsmen in different shoe factories and Sibylle Schachl spent the majority of the last 25 years in the fashion business. Puro is based on the concept of combining emotional connection with handcrafted perfection to create these individual works of art. Not just offering high-quality shoes: it refers to intense emotions. In the same way, pairs of shoes with no emotional response do not form a part of the final collection.
