Former Sustainability consultant Nat Robb's curiosity for knitting led her to the local community crafts club in Māhia Peninsula. Learning the generational knowledge and traditions of the craft. A te reo Māori word, meaning cosy, comfortable, and warm, Āhuru is considered made-to-order by local artisans. Winner of The Fashion Quarterly Emerging Designer Award, Āhuru joins The Shelter’s Emerging Designer Program.
